Got a bare wall?
Too much blank space killing the vibe of your room? 
Trying to give your dorm that personal touch? 

I’ve got a solution for you! And it is pretty simple. WALL COLLAGES!

For anyone who knows me, I LOVE pictures especially the frames I display them in. To help liven up your room and take up some of that blank space, I suggest using different frames or wall art to make a cool wall montage. This works for both boys and girls alike, too.

Just ask each of your roommates to pick a few frames or “pieces” (think clocks, mirrors, flags, or cool wall art) that they think depicts them and their style. When you have everyone’s contributions together, decide on the pictures you want to put in each frame and how you want to hang everything.

*Quick Tip* I suggest getting your hands on some wrapping paper. Flip the wrapping paper over so you have a solid backdrop. Cut out an area about the size of the space you want to fill on your wall. Arrange your items on the wrapping paper first and when you find a place for everything, trace and label what goes where on the paper. Next, hang the wrapping paper up on the wall and begin to hang your stuff! It is way easier than hanging and rehanging everything a million times trying to figure out what looks best! 

You can even go a step further and create a theme for your giant wall collage. Maybe you all love the color purple so all of your items can belong to a certain color scheme. Maybe you are all huge Rangers fans and you want your walls covered in hockey paraphernalia. Or maybe all of your roommates just came back from being abroad and you want to display treasures from your travels. It’s totally up to you! Have fun with it and get creative! No two are ever the same and that’s the beauty of it!
